All ArtClips images were created in Adobe Illustrator.
Besides being flexible, Illustrator includes a great number of very powerful features including a tool to blend shades or colors, a rotation tool, a reflect tool, and more.
Opening ArtClips images from Illustrator is very simple. Either double-click on any ArtClips image from the Finder or use Illustrator’s Open… command. Once within Illustrator, you are given a virtual playground for manipulating ArtClips.
NOTE:
If you don’t have Illustrator, double clicking on any image will display an alert box that says: “The file YourImage could not be opened/printed (the application is busy or missing)” Don’t worry, you will still be able to place the images in any other PostScript compatible application.
Placing ArtClips in other applications
Placing Encapsulated PostScript images with desktop publishing or presentation packages depends on the application.
Using PageMaker, the Place command allows text or graphics to be placed on the screen. Quark XPress, on the other hand requires a number of steps (first create a picture box on the page, then choose Get Picture from the File menu.)
Consult your application’s manual for more details on placing EPS images.
